I had also posted about it on Station, but figured some other people here might also be interested! I'm still fairly new to the geminispace and don't know if the venn diagram of users of both platforms is just a circle.

Damn good stuff
Nice to have another word game, thank you for your effort.
I couldn't play on my phone and even a 10" tablet as things don't fit enough for me to stay on task. But it maybe just my issue, I am layout challenged and have trouble reading comics and graphic novels.
I will try again on a pc with a very large screen, and maybe in a Lagrange split-window.
Looks good though.
I'm going to have a tough time with the leaderboard since I usually have a lot of interruptions throughout the day.
But I gotta say, I think this has the best presentation I've seen in a Gemini game (at least on desktop with ANSI color). I tried for the same quality with Zoe but the game is just too hard and not very fun as a result. This one is engaging and good practice. Again, well done!

Thank you all for trying it out and your kind words! I also put out an update, with additional information on the home and about pages, as well as a way to Pause the timer! now you can play on your commute, pause it, and resume it on your coffee break, making leaderboards more competitive and fair for our busy lives :)
I tried to play using a desktop (Linux) Lagrange. Could not -- got stuck on "choose name" screen. Kept picking names and could not start the game -- back to "choose name".
I did find that I had to tell lagrange to use my certificate for the *domain*, not the game page where it first asked for one. Only then could I register a name, because that page *also* wants a certificate, and it's not under the game page. Once that was fixed I could make a name no problem.
hey for some reason the "down" clues are cut off... sometimes at 41, sometimes at 39 with a "/p" link that gives an error when I click it.
Nice implementation. How are the crosswords licensed? It says today’s is from Newsday?
I like it a lot! one thing, once I navigated away from the page after creating my username, there was no way for me to get to the profile page without manually adding "/profile" to the end of the URL

Announcing Crossyword — I made an online daily Crossword game, with leaderboards and puzzle archive, over Gemini. Built it as example usage for my gemini application framework, it's still fairly new but ready for you to try out! Feedback and comments welcome :) [gemini link]
