I tried to play using a desktop (Linux) Lagrange. Could not -- got stuck on "choose name" screen. Kept picking names and could not start the game -- back to "choose name".

I did find that I had to tell lagrange to use my certificate for the *domain*, not the game page where it first asked for one. Only then could I register a name, because that page *also* wants a certificate, and it's not under the game page. Once that was fixed I could make a name no problem.

hey for some reason the "down" clues are cut off... sometimes at 41, sometimes at 39 with a "/p" link that gives an error when I click it.
Nice implementation. How are the crosswords licensed? It says todayβs is from Newsday?

I like it a lot! one thing, once I navigated away from the page after creating my username, there was no way for me to get to the profile page without manually adding "/profile" to the end of the URL

Announcing Crossyword β I made an online daily Crossword game, with leaderboards and puzzle archive, over Gemini. Built it as example usage for my gemini application framework, it's still fairly new but ready for you to try out! Feedback and comments welcome :) [gemini link]
