I think something like The Analog Thing is a better investment at the same price point if you want to do analog computing. I have not tested that nor the AE though, but have a midsized eurorack system, which I don't think will be usable for more than visualizing some diff equation just to the rough shapes if I am creative.

Synths for analog computing? — Hi there! This might be a dumb question, as I know nothing about electronics or synthesizers, but I'm just curious: Can affordable modular synthesizers, like that AE Modular stuff be turned into an analog computer?
