I was a professional tutor for some years, and Quoridor was a great game for our students to build reasoning skills. It's more accessible than chess, more tangible than Go, and it has a huge amount of depth for being so simple. I later bought a copy for myself and play it with friends every now and then.

Promoting logical thinking with logical games: I once 3D-printed the game Quoridor to try it out. It was definitely worth it for experimenting. Maybe one day I'll buy a wooden version of it. Is anyone familiar with the game?
