Yeah, I'd say go for it! Mind you, the yankiness of ragdoll-bodies is still there together with some other stuff, but if you like the type of game, I think you'll have a good time!

I remember the original Thief game pretty fondly. I think I lost track of the franchise for a while, and then that style of gameplay seemed to become Assasin's Creed only. From what you're saying, it looks like a lot of fun.

Thief - Deadly Shadows replayed 2024. Thoughts. — I recently re-played Thief - Deadly Shadows. I got it on Gog.com several years ago, but never got it running well until now. There are a lot of fan-fixes and patches available that will make it a bit better (SneakyUpgrade is what I used). Still had some issues with crashes and things, but nothing a reload wouldn't solve.
