Ukrainians are living in this mode at least for three years, believe, that the sirens are not a main problem. The real problem arises when you may have to become a soldier later, possibly against your will.

Believe me, I'm no stranger to that. I was conscripted for a combat unit for 3 years without pay (basically a slave) and then for a comulative 2 years more during the following 17 years...Many a times I considered defiance and prison time but always chickend out at the last minute.

I don't know how to comment on this hell. You probably can't relocate with your child, as the war usually means closed or dangerous borders. Just keep your gadgets clean; that's the only reminder I have at this point.

Thank you. Indeed the airports are closed for outbound travellers and there' only a weekly ferry to Cyprus which already closed tickets registration. You can buy your way out of this by paying a lot of money to someone with a yacht, but even if I did, I don't have any spare money to afford living in another country at the moment. plus, I need to take care of my parents, and I need income from unemployment grant. The war ended my job because it was not essential, obliterated my personal business and my hopes to find a job soon.
I guess it's all doable if you just want to survive at the moment, but I am not ready to become a homless, jobless refugee just yet. we'll see.

Another round of missile sirens. I'm so fucking exhausted and it's only week 1 of this stupid war. Can they just get our jingoist element and we call it even and quit already? How many times did I have to run for shelter in the past 620 days? 200? I don't even care anymore. Fuck my genocidal government and fuck Iran's government too for targeting city centres. Fuck you all. to the governments of the world I stick my middle finger
