Something to check: do you have feed subscriptions or remote bookmarks? Try disabling automatic subscription refresh and also the remote bookmarks, if any, and see if the crashing persists.

This kind of issues are hard to debug for me as I don't use an Android phone myself...

I haven't had any crashes. Occasional weirdness when sleeping while text entry dialog up. Haven't nailed it down yet

Latest from F-droid, I think 1.26 16-01-24... Crashes daily in my Moto G, upon returning to Lagrange. I have to go offline, refresh, then reconnect and refresh again. Actually happens more often than say last year...
