Have you noticed there is a Clear action on the thread page that you can use to clear all notifications about that particular thread?
The usability is subpar, admittedly, but that is the compromise available at the moment.

When clearing the remaining notifications in a thread (link at the bottom), why aren't we redirected to bubble's homepage or even better to the our dashboard?

link to thread - other than comments alone — Wouldn't it be smarter to have a link to the actual thread (OP), instead of (or in addition to) every comments' link in our notifications pages? If I want to follow the convo, I'm starting from the beginning and follow down.
