@softwarepagan: if it's not too personal, what kind of heathenry are you practicing or interested in? What about it appeals to you and how did you get into it? Genuinly curious.

I practice English (or Anglo-Saxon) heathenry, at least as well as I can on my own (these kinds of spiritualities are best practiced in a group setting). I am working on a book outlining my ideas about this and how to best reconstruct it for modern English speakers. With regards to how I got started, I had been attracted to the old gods since I was a child. It took me a long time to re-discover spirituality after my adolescent atheist phase and the true faith of my ancestors resonated with me better than any Abrahamic faith could.
