I've written a couple NNTP projects in C and Lisp. Lately it's been polluted by encrypted stuff with god knows what and garbage posted by IP owners to screw things up...
AI proofing is a subject that probably deserves its own topic...

I did write a NNTP server and NNTP client software, and I do use Usenet sometimes. (There was many bad quality articles due to Google (actually, all of the bad quality articles I have seen, have come from Google), but now it is not on Google, so it is better without the articles from Google on Usenet.)

@zzo38 Google is a terrible mess of a news source especially with tech related topics. I searched through various guides for fixing things within Windows and the top 3 SEO spam upsell websites that pop up are Minitool Partition Wizard, anything by EaseUS and registry cleaners.
Glad you found a way to exclude those.

Do people here know usenet, finger and other obscure protocols? I've been thinking about adding them into The Blue Pages lately and been looking into popular resources for aforementioned. I'm also looking at popular (and useful) Gopherholes and Gemini spaces too if any. I haven't come across Gopher nor Gemini since the past year since it's still small, but I do think they should earn some recognition with other old web creators back in HTML land so that the community can still thrive. Any stuff...
