It's never a good thing when someone is murdered for having a different opinion, even if they were spreading bullshit (but as it turns out now, not entirely bullshit) when alive.
To his credit, he opposed wars, and opposed anti-BDS laws, which makes him kind of OK.
But bible-thumping and extreme anti-gender position was not ideal.

There were some toxic views from my perspective. But the punishment isn't death for holding those.

It sucks that Charlie Kirk passed away, and even I would say rest peacefully towards people I disagree with politically, mainly because it's just not worth killing a person over having differing views to me, and because that never solves anything.

It is discouraging to see people being fired for nasty comments towards Charlie Kirk. Cancel culture is alive and well, just on the other foot.

I was always concerned with that. People get carried away when the tide flows their way, but then the door is open for the other side. It's always good to stop and consider what would happen if the opposing party was doing the same exact thing. Don't do onto others and so on.
I was very upset with the legal hounding of Trump for the same reason. Not because I like Trump (or because the legal cases were mostly bullshit), but because it opened up a whole new level of using the judicial system to eliminate political opposition.

Charlie Kirk shot โ I am sure everyone will behave themselves and think about the life of a human being and his family who are impacted by this. That said, I am not looking forward to the raising of the political temperature even further.
