Re: "A poem with all O words (Russian)"

In: u/stack

A rough deep-l translation:

One day after lunch, around eleven o'clock, Father Onufry, who had stuffed himself with pancakes, was walking around the garden when he discovered a naked Olga alone, gnawing on cucumbers. Father Onufry called out to Olga—Olga gasped and dropped her glasses into the snow.

Olga charmed the balding Father Onufry, but he also flirted with her, drooling and groping the lonely Olga. Olga came to her senses and slapped the lecher. Father Onufry was embarrassed. However, Olga was about eighteen years old. Let's celebrate!

Father Onufry presented Olga with shoes, wallpaper, ham, sturgeon, a disposable “Exemplary Gardener” medal, an opal necklace, and an armful of orchids. Finally going mad, he built Olga an awesome mansion on the edge of the garden.

Olga was delighted - she got Father Onufry drunk on “Omskaya Osobaya” vodka and fed him “Orbit” candy until he was delirious. Father Onufry was stunned by such abundance and hugged the young girl. Olga got angry and scolded Father Onufry with her granddaughter, and then with a stick. Father Onufry came to his senses and addressed Olga with a polite greeting: “To my beloved Olga, I wish you optimism, excellent oogenesis, new clothes, envy, and witty company!”

I dared to announce this opus by Ovchinnikov. Oh my!

[And my preferred ending] Father Onufry was too late — Olga bit off Father Onufry's disgusting appendage.

@ stack awesome. What people were able to achieve before the internet and smart devices. They were at home with a bunch of "free" time and had to find something to fill their days with.

I learned russian from the 2nd to the 4th grade but as time passed I realize that my russian sucks. I look at the poem and understand only letters =))

SavaRocks, use it or lose it. My Russian is pretty limited now as well. and some of those O words are pretty odd/outdated/too clever...

But I remember having a lot of fun with friends in 5th grade with (a much shorter) version of this.

A poem with all O words (Russian) — @SavaRocks, although it's in Russian, here is a poem in which every word starts with an O. It kind of makes sense and I personally added the ending which is more appropriate
