Folding Kayaks - Free Market Wins
In an earlier post, I showed much enthusiasm for the origami-folded kayaks, made from a single sheet of coroplast. I complained that the only company selling them was charging $1000-$2000 for a $40 sheet of coroplast with a few folds and straps. I labeled that 'Another Failure of Capitalism'.

Well, free market is back, and EBAY and Amazon are full of folding kayaks from $120 up. That's more like it.
However, since that last post almost a year ago, I've done nothing to get closer to actually kayaking. My arm muscles feel like spaghetti and hurt when I lift the mouse, so paddling is a tall order. I should really start exercising -- my fancy rowing machine, the one with a water drum is also sitting idle, looking at me right now.
I think I am going to do that now.
Then I have to learn to swim.
