Re: "Andrei Tarkovsky movies on YouTube"
Oh, Lem! I am still waiting for some director to find enough courage to get funds for making an adaptation of "The Invincible". Forget Michael Crichton's Prey, it was Lem who invented that genre... :-) OK, I did not find an earlier book mentioning a grey goo scenario.

Return From The Stars is incredibly cinematic and relevant!
Chain of Chance as well.
Fiasco.
Futurological Congress, done for real this time.
Pirx is a perfect series.

Futurological congress and Flow my Tears the Policeman Said are my two biggest fantasies to be made in that classic 1990s-2000s PKD adaptations style. Just imagine...

There was a Hollywood movie loosely inspired by Futurological Congress, although it took me a while to figure that out... It was not a great adaptation at all, though.
Return From The Stars is an obvious candidate now that CGI is cheap. Also timely.

Andrei Tarkovsky movies on YouTube β I recently found two movies directed by Andrei Tarkovsky on YouTube; first, StanisΕaw Lem's "Solaris" and then "Stalker" by the Strugastky brothers. Real SF gems, with English subs, free to watch at the time of this writing: Solaris [https link] Stalker [https link] Both books & movies are classics.
