Installation

If this application is not available on your favorite GNU/Linux distribution, the best behavior to install a Python module is to generate a Python virtual environment with the `venv` module (available in the standard library).

Pypi installation

This application is available on Pypi and can be installed with `pip`.

pip install geode-gem

Sources installation

The source can be retrieved from our forge with the `git` tool:

git clone https://laboratory.kawateam.dev/geode/gem.git

There is also the archives repository available with a checksums file to check the validity of the files.

The project contains a `pyproject.toml` which can be used to install this project with `pip`.

System dependencies

The following packages must be installed on your system to have a fully working Geode-Gem. These dependencies may be already available if you have GTK+3 applications on your desktop.
