I’m disappointed. I really like the ethos here, but I just want to write a simple log. Probably about board games. Plain text, maybe italics, a title for listed entries so I can search through it, and a character limit bigger than a page or two is all I need at the technical level. I’m not a technical person, though, so self-hosting is out. There are a couple other options, but they all seem to be not accepting new people or have content policies that feel arbitrary like social media. I would rather type away at a text editor and save it locally for no one to read, which is what I’m doing right now. But I’ll send this paragraph into the void, for the halibut.
