GPG (GNU Privacy Guard) is a free implementation of the OpenPGP standard. It can be used to encrypt data, sign files and emails, and verify that something really came from the person who signed it.

A GPG key consists of a public key that you can share with others, and a private key that should be kept secret. You can publish your public key on a keyserver or share it directly.

These tutorials cover the basic things you can do with GPG keys:

🔑 How to create a GPG key

🗝️ How to sign files or emails with a GPG key

📤 How to export GPG keys

📥 How to import GPG keys
