About email notifications

In my self-hosted bubble I have a likely issue with email notifications, where I don't receive them, BUT if I trigger some post/like/thanks whatever, on purpose, I do receive them.

sendmail is working, I'm not in sleep hours, the subspace is followed - this user also happens to be the instance's admin; the only thing I have set up is an auto reload of dashboard page with Lagrange (so that I actually notice new messages when opening the tab): can this influence in any way email notifications?

Anything else to consider?

Your auto-reloading dashboard is almost certainly the cause here. Email notifications are not sent if Bubble determines you have already seen them, since that would be redundant and spammy.
