Maybe only the GNOME devs (who are not using their own software) can place Email menu near the Trash. I fucking was close to sent sensitive data because of that!

Interesting, I never noticed that. Not when I used GNOME either. But I always use the delete key, when deleting files.

You would have to input an email address before it would send anything, it's not really a security issue.

@Kaze, it have opened DeltaChat - I don't know how does it handle request because there is no form expected; I hope the mail was not sent to the first active recipient in list.
