Blend Tips? ā You know good tips to do Tea blends? im experimenting with them, but Im not sure what makes a blend good, if there are any rules to follow or something.

I got a gift from a place called Yunnan Sourcing US, and then went on to order more, and I'm feeling fancy with their black tea stuffed into rosehips. I recommend, about as highly as I recommend any store. Affordable but long shipping times, Buy more than you would from a convenience store, and maybe go in on an order with some friends.

I would personally recommend Bigelow tea, they're pretty nice. I love their vanilla chai teas.

Lapsang Souchong - I came across this tea many years ago in a teashop near my house. It's a smoked tea, and it tastes the way a wet campfire smells the morning afer a night outdoors. I've still not tried to cook with it, but perhaps it would make a nice tea egg or tiramisu. I will experiment and report back. If you can get your hands on it, please try it.

popped into a very nice dim sum place the other day. it was authentic enough that i actually felt like i was in one of the hutongs in Beijing. they had pu'erh tea on the menu so i had to indulge. maybe not the best pu'erh i've had but still worth the price.
