hosting notes/personal knowledge capsule — I've dug into the exceptionally well documented gmid, and I finally got client cert auth on my capsule! Finishing Touches — My little capsule is now in a spot where I feel okay sharing it. I still have a lot that I want to do, mostly organization, making everything fit together, and making it look pretty, but as of right now I'm happy with where it is. Suggestions/critique welcome!!

A home to call my own — I've wanted to make my own gemlog for a while, but... I'm not really that technical in that regard. I'm too busy to set it all up. There's no reason to set up a server for this. It's probably a bad idea anyway, since I might mess it up in the future somehow. ^ This is me making excuses. Search Engines in Gemini — I found out that when I search for my capsule on any of the search engines on Gemini, nothing comes up? I tried adding its url in Kennedy as well, few times, still nothing. Its weird since, the crawlers should be working just fine since I do not even have robot.txt in my main path of the capsule. Did anyone else has experienced this before? Its been more than 10 days since I launched my capsule. I hope it shows up in the search at least, just in case someone is cuious...

Creating your own Capsule — I'm about 50% done on a HOWTO for setting up and creating a capsule. The meat of getting a server running is there, I just need to flesh out the rest (atom feeds, tinylogs, etc.) I'm hoping to share this link with new people coming in and asking for help. What would be the easiest server to install and run on Ubunto, for someone who never installed a server and has only recently started using Linux after 13 years of abscence ?
