The value proposition of an Echo should have always been a tip off that something was amiss. I'm willing to bet the privacy feature never actually worked because oopsie some low level admin misconfigured a database and "nobody" noticed.

I find it hilarious Amazon thought they'd have an app store of "skills" for Alexa. All people do is check the weather, set timers, and listen to music. AI-ifying it will make it just as dumb as the chat bots only dumber because you can't generate code snippets.
