20 years ago it was THE place for music, movies, TV shows, etc. Maybe will be again now that all the streaming services are inserting ads even when you pay!

For eweka, look for a deal, don't pay more than $4 or so per month. Do some googling for a deal or coupon.

They do not carry any of the binary/piracy groups.

I actually used to get Windows software (and the OS) off the newsgroups! What a different world it was!
I'm on eternal-september and there is a ton of conversations going on over there. Far from boring.

few days ago I browsed Usenet first time and it was.... boring tbh. I couldn't find any content part of the reason was that my usenet server admin says they haven't federated with other usenet servers so I was only seeing local post, local server having only two users me and the admin. is there any good usenet out there I could participate in?
