people who pick it up, appreciate it, are often those who don't like unnecesary things in design.

so basically modernism, bauhaus, many designs of early 20th century and post wwii architects (i shared here an article about architects and how people avoid looking at windows and how some walls are comforting) are in certain degree an outcomes of autistic minds.
