Danger!
Thermal printers use paper coated with a substance that is toxic very bad for your health. Likewise with most receipts in stores. Do a little research before letting your kid spend too much time handling the paper.

Tiny thermal printer is a lot of fun — My daughter just turned 8, and one of her birthday gifts was a tiny thermal printer - the kind that spits out little notes, stickers and Sudokus with no ink, just magic.
