Disability survey is a great idea.
Gemtext pages are much more likely to be read correctly, and scale easily...

Agree about privacy reasons. I don't like the idea of collecting personal data. If it's that kind of survey, I generally don't participate. Asking for things like "how did you find out about gemini" or "why are you here" might be useful (and noninvasive). Some of it is also totally guessable based on what people post about. idk.
I'm guessing that enough people are here for privacy reasons, that surveys aren't going to get a lot of traction. Sorry, that's the way it is. I suppose you might as well ask some obvious (unanswerable) questions though: are you a bot, a fed, a self-censoring {hated political group}, an extra-terrestrial lifeform, or radical activist?

I mean tbh I think it's kind of fun to just see the data
although the questions that are most fun to look at kind of coincide with the ones that don't reveal much personal information

Gemini census? โ What demographic questions would you find useful on a Gemini census? Is there anything which would be helpful to know as you participate in Geminispace and as you develop for Gemini? When I have free time this summer, I'd like to host a little community census so that data is available. Happy to hear your thoughts!
