what genius decied to call it spicy food?! there are million spices and most of them don't hurt also what galaxy brain decided to call it hot?! black pepper is hot, the rest are not, the thought that someone might never try the downright magic effect that black pepper has of making your food feel hot even when it's not just because y'all can't words infuriates me! wasabi/mustard is a punch in the face, very enjoyable, and the rest is just pain... i know what buring feels like, not even close,β¦

@netawa Dead rising series finished, curious what people think about it I hate when capcom does the safe sequels. They are so good at making exceptional gameplay, and then going lazy mode with the sequels, keeping the exact seme gameplay and changing other peripheral things, that make them kind of worse, but not so bad to totally hate them. The core gameplay still carries the game and if any one in the series happens to be someone's first it easily becomes the best for that person. They do thisβ¦

I thought the whole point of UDP is to preemtively barrage each other with endless hoard of packets until some of em stick, but apparently that's not a good idea... imma try to send as normal, then do something clever to detect drops, and then do a bit of barraging to recover, all careful like... boring af, not at all what i imagined...

@lars_the_bear don't put documentation where code goes, omg, i don't want to scroll through your novels when trying to figure out what your code actually does (which is never what you say it does) you can have private headers that don't get installed, put your private declarations and documentation there

std::partition just bit me in the ass, that it, imma fix rn from the gospel of partitions Footnote: I have to admit an embarrassing thing: the interfaces for partition and partition_3way are not consistent. In 1986 I wrote my first library implementation of partition for a part of Ada Generic Library that could not be released since no Ada compiler would be able to compile deeply nested generics. (The fact that it could not be released is sad because in this part I used a concept of coordinate...

@Atomic-Germ though LLMs in coding will almost certainly become what Photoshop is for artists if i ever get around to doing educational stuff this is on my list - how no digital artist actually draws anything, they just give the computer connect-the-dots puzzle and the computer fits it with the mathematically proven smoothest curves possible. that's why your handwriting is suddenly silky smooth when you write on yer tablets and that's why artist that are good with their hands hate it, cause...

Peak loicense performence for ms paint β (unhighlight first paragraph) While the virginity of all my code is securely protected by the holy GPL, I'm afraid that some of my not code might gain some semblance of popularity if I release it under CC-BY-SA, so plz someone make a more contagious license for digital not code.
