This is an example of what I think of as the "Windowsification" of Linux -- resource-hogging background services, intended to make things easier for people who can't use `find` or `grep`.

Sure, there's a use for these things; but installing and enabling them by default is a step too far.

I recently disabled and masked local search indexer in GNOME, now my HDD can rest in silence! [bash] Before, this fucking indexer make me angry, by awaiting for FS unlock on coding, especially with Firefox running and caching these 'modern' Web pages. Madness! I hate you all, money/feature makers, SDD traders and their users; users especially - I should drop yours ugly software all this time instead of installing required one.
